Brittney Tucker – Stylist

Kasey McCrossen – Stylist/Makeup Artist/Hot Heads Extensions Certified

Kasey started with Gloss in 2014 and works at the Blow-dry and Beauty Bar, but has been in the industry since 2012. She attended Beauty Palooza in Atlantic city in 2014 and has apprenticed under a Bumble and bumble educators, as well as pureology educators. Kasey has certifications in hotheads extensions and in keratin treatments. Her passion is for color. Especially foils, balyage, ombre and anything fun.

Katarina Pino- Stylist

Kate Stout- Stylist/Executive Makeup Artist

Kate has been a makeup artist since 2006. She was with MAC for 4.5 years and left in 2013 to join Gloss <3.  In that same year Kate was a part of NYC fashion show, doing the makeup for a new and upcoming small new clothing line (Laura smalls). Also in 2013, Kate did the make up for Delaware Bride’s photoshoot. Currently She is taking an online makeup course with Val Garland (world known makeup artist, does all of MAC’s visuals, fashion shows, editorial) where she was one of a 1,000 chosen/accepted to take this class across the world.

Although makeup is her absolute passion, Kate does do hair too. She loves doing anything with color, balayage, ombre, highlights etc., with edgy hair cuts being one of her favorites.

Krystal Smith – Stylist/Makeup Artist

Krystal is one of our hairstylist and makeup artist both newark locations She started in the industry in 2009, graduating from delcastle technical high school in 2011. Krystal became a licensed cosmetologist in 2011 and started at Gloss in April 2013. She specializes in haircuts ,creative color, color correction, curly hair, and special occasion styling & makeup. Some of Krystals education is redken and goldwell color technique classes, the art of hair painting/balayage & art of foil placement,coppla kertain complex certified, blow dry boot camp, Gloss girl makeup artistry education. Krystal also did the hair and makeup for udress fashion show 2014.

“My passion for this industry started when I was 14 . I was lucky enough to work in a salon all through high school graduating with my cosmetology license at 17 . I was able to work and learn under many talented hairstylist. I love my job being able to help people feel beautiful! It’s the best feeling when you have a client walking out feeling amazing and loving there hair . I’m always trying to stay inspired, learn new techniques and keep my clients happy!” – Krystal

Lindsay Alvarez- Stylist/Makeup Artist

Lindsay started with Gloss in 2012. She went to Paul Mitchell School in 2011. Lindsay specializes in facial waxing, women and men cuts and color, especially for blondes and Ombre/Balayage technique, and is certified in Hot Head hair extensions. In 2011, Lindsay went to the Redken Exchange in Vegas. She has also attended Eufora & Bumble & Bumble product classes. Sarah Claycomb – Stylist

Sarah joined the Gloss team in 2009. She has been in the industry of cosmetology for five years, graduating from the Paul Mitchell Partner School. In addition to a formal education in hair, Sarah also obtained her degree in Business from Goldey Beacom College. Other training consists of Redken color classes, Bumble and Bumble razor cutting, long layer and bob cutting, Wella Colors of the World, Bare Minerals skin care and makeup and Paul Mitchell cutting systems.

Sarah enjoys foiling/highlighting, color, cutting and formal styling.
